In my last post I wrote about plot charting. Well, I’ve now become a little (too) obsessed. I decided to create my own chart with a 36-by-48-inch trifold presentation board (about $5). Using electrical tape, I first divided my chart into eight segments:The next step was to take all my plot cards — one per scene, about 80 total — and organize them into acts and segments. As you can see, it’s already clear that I’ve got a lot of work to do in Act I:
